Phone-phone with SNOM devices
I have a business case where we need to have calls runing between Innovaphone telephone devices and SNOM telephones. Currently we have a huge installed base with SNOM phones which are communicating directly to each other by using SIP IP dialing (no registrar). To be able to switch to Innovaphone sets, same feature is required on Innovaphone devices. Currently Innovaphone supports phone-phone direct dialing by IP address AND telephone number. Whereas the installed base do not have any telephone number configured.
Goal is to establish phone-phone direct calling between Innovaphone and SNOM phone by using IP address only.

Re: Phone-phone with SNOM devices
Hi,

innovaphone phones can be configured to run in stand-alone mode (no PBX).
Enter "0.0.0.0" as gatekeeper address.
You then can dial IP4 addresses like 172*16*19*203 (star for dot).
You can also select SIP as protocol.
If this is compatible with snom ... I don't know.
You should try.

Hi,
thanks for your message. Unfortunately this is not working. Innovaphone sets do not send any IP traffic as long as the telephone number is dialed.

Re: Phone-phone with SNOM devices
You must enter the destination ip address before you go offhook.
It will NOT work if you go offhook before you enter the destination.
I just tested and it worked (calling from IP222 to IP111).

We tried the similar setup, but there is no call going out.
Attached the configuration. IP110-22-11-2019.txt

Re: Phone-phone with SNOM devices
My (minimal) config is this:
config change PHONE SIG /prot SIP /gk-addr 0.0.0.0
But yours look good too.
I see you have DIRECT-DIAL configured:

vars create PHONE/DIRECT-DIAL-CFG p %3cdd+e164='30'+h323='10.2.27.118'+defer='0'/%3e

What if you change destination from '10.2.27.118' into '10*2*27*118'?

Re: Phone-phone with SNOM devices
Hi,
Direct-dial we tried out (currently disabled) and it worked as long as we define a number to be submitted with the IP address. However goal is to use the IP address only. However it is currently disabled.

Re: Phone-phone with SNOM devices
Are you testing with version 13r1 or earlier version?
I have it running here with 13r1 (calling inno to inno).
But with 12r2 I dont get it calling here.

Re: Phone-phone with SNOM devices
No,
I am using 12r2

12r2 sr23 IP200A[12.5560], Bootcode[426], Hardware[110]

Since I am using IP110, I think there is no newer SW for it.
So do you see the same issue as I am when using 12r2?

Re: Phone-phone with SNOM devices
Okay, we probably need to merge the small fix from version 13r1 down to 12r2.
If you want you can try this inofficial build on your IP110.
It would be interesting for us to see interop with snom.
