Hotdesking with Gatekeeper Adresses
Hi,

it would be nice to have the Hotdeskingkey with additional Gatekeeperinformation Primary / Secondary.

Without this Feature in bigger Scenarios with many Slaves, where LDAP is not replicated on each Slave, it is not possible for every User which exist in the whole System.

Hi,

could you elaborate a bit further? Normally I would expect that at least the master knows all possible hot desking users, so that this should work even with partially replicated slaves.

Hi,

the Scenario is the following.

One Master (IP6010) --> more than 2000 User

Some Slave Locations with IP305 as PBX and such 10 Users. (Only Local Replikation)

For excample :
Now a User from the Master Location works only one day in the week at
the Slave Location and the other days at the Master location.

In the Slave location it should be possible to use the Hotdeskingkey on the Phone and to register on each User which exist in the Master.

A slave receiving a registration request for a user it does not know should respond to the client with the master's ip address (as "try this gatekeeper"). The client then would re-try at the given address.

Of course, this cloud be an issue if the client does not support this redirection scheme. innovaphone devices do.
