Set a specific reset time
Hi there,

I updated a IPVA with new firmware, however the customer asked me to reset the IPVA after business hours. This isn't possible at this moment (idle reset and hard reset only).

Can this be implemented that you can set a specific reset time/date?

Best regards

Re: Set a specific reset time
Hi Richard,

You can define a time slot per update script and execute the iresetn.

mod cmd UP1 times /allow 2 /inital 5
iresetn

See Concept Update Server

You can also update the Firmware by the script.

Re: Set a specific reset time

If no update-server is available and extremely tricky:

To execute a planned iresetn in 5 hours, you can set as update URL the following command and as interval 300 Minutes (5 hours):

if I am not wrong, the command will be executed in 300 minutes.

Afterwards don't forget to delete the URL. But when a "ireset needed" is planned, nothing should happened.
