call between two IP6010s
Hello!
I've got two separate PBXes (master) IP6010s in my lab and need to make it possible to call each other. I don't need to put them into a tree or make one slave or standby.
I've managed to do that between IP6010 and a trixbox pbx and tried to do the same with the second IP6010 but failed. Perhaps IP6010 to IP6010 config is a bit more tricky for me.
Could you please give a piece of advice or maybe a link to a resource where my scenario is described?

Re: call between two IP6010s
Hello gregarah,

you could use a simple gateway without registration.

1. Create a Trunk Object called "Intern" without number on both PBXs
2. Insert "Intern" into "Route-Node External Calls to" under PBX->Config
3. Create on both IP6010 a "Gateway without registration" that points at the IP of the respective other IP6010
4. Create on both IP6010 two routes
  • "Intern" -> "Name_of_Gateway_without_reg"
  • "Name_of_Gateway_without_reg" -> "Intern"
Now you should be able to call the Users on the other PBX.

Greetings
~N

Re: call between two IP6010s
thanks a lot.
can I do without a loopback gw in this case? I mean when creating routes...

Actually I did the same (at least I think so) for ip6010 and trixbox pbx. But the calls between ip6010 and ip6010 are recognized as internal. Meanwhile the calls between ip6010 and trixbox are recognized as external, though they all use the same "intern" trunk object ("Route-Node External Calls to" option).
