Predefine softphone server port with deployment

Hello @all,

is there a way to predefine the softphone server port in the configuration file (htm) for the deployment via .msi?

The matter is that a lot of our users are using HTTP - Servers on the computers and so I don't want that the softphone is using port 80. I want to predefine a port, so that it is consistent.

Hi Sebastian,

after installation you can replace the config file in the installation folder of the softwarephone. In this config file you can specify the web ports.
There are two config files. Unfortunately i don't know which is the right one.
You can change the Port on the softwarephone web gui and take a look in the roaming folder. There are a copy of the files with individual adjustments.

After the change, you have to delete the config files in the roaming folder. Otherwise these are used without the changes in the installation folder.

Alternatively, you can change the ports via an update-script.

is the following line correct for configuring the ports with an update-script?

config change HTTP0 /port 10006 /https-port 443
