License model for apps

What are the plans for the licensing concept of the apps now developed by partners?

Will the apps be integrated into Innovaphone's existing license model or will each app provider have to implement this for themselves, aka the endcustomer will have to deal with each of them?

Licenses could be per installation, per user, per time (SSCs?)?

I would like to know that now, because the concept of my planned app depends on it.

Hi Rico,

you have both possibilities:

1. Licensing through innovaphone

1.1 the app follows our licensing model

1.2 per user license on the PBX

1.3 rental or on premise

1.4 distribution through our channel, you get your share

2. Own licensing

2.1 you sell your licenses yourself

2.2. you implement the license check yourself

You must be aware of the properties of our licenses model. E.g.

There are App(<your-company>.<your-app>) licenses, which license an App per user
There are Service(<your-company>.<your-app>) license, which grant a number of something (channels?) on the service itself
The Version of the license is the version of the PBX, so if you publish a new version, it is ideal, if you synchronize this with the PBX Version
These licenses are put on our pricelist and sold thru our channel, so you get from the list price, what is left after the channel discount is subtracted and a small fee from us.
