myApps: taskbar
Hello community

When our customer start myApps for the first time, myApps doesn’t appears on the taskbar.

So the customer think that myApps doesn’t work.

He call us for the support… MyApps is opened but on the small icon on the left of « Date/hour Windows »

It is not user friendly for the end users.

Example : when we open Word or Excel, the program is show directly on the taskbar


Do you think that is it possible to implement that?

Hi Jean-Francois,

as long as you are using the launcher for Windows, and you have at least 13r1 sr11 installed, this setting can be set and forced if needed on the pbx-side at PBX - Config - myApps - Client Settings by switching the option Show in taskbar to on.

There are some other useful switches as well like:
  • Enable Autostart
  • Autostart video - off
  • Presets for Hotkeys

Hello

I know that but when you start myapps for the first time (after the boot of the computer), myapps doesn't appear on the taskbar.
If you check, myapps is opened but you need to clic on the arrow near the date&hour Windows. You will see the icon myapps

After that you clic on it and myapps appears on the taskbar...

It is not user friendly for the end users
