Softphone: Citrix WebRTC Redirection / Terminal Server ready

Citrix uses the HDX protocol for terminal servers sessions. This protocol offers functions such as WebRTC redirection. Here the WebRTC session is no longer hosted on the terminal server, it is redirected to the client and the client hosts the WebRTC session itself. Microsoft Teams is here an example, Teams are already doing quite well in Citrix terminal server sessions when the WebRTC redirection is enabled and used.

Citrix offers an SDK (Java Script) which for this function would have to be embedded in the softphone or in myApps.

This would then presumably make it possible to use the softphone in a Citrix terminal server environment. I think that would be interesting for many industries and another big plus point for innovaphone myApps.

for bigger companies this is a thing and would be a nice feature against competitors.

Is such a integration on the roadmap?

this is a nice function in 13r3, but will not work with Thinclients. (Igel, Wyse,..)
