Reverse lookup for all contact sources
Hi, Right now, so far as I know and have tested, reverse lookup is only done via de contacts app. But not in a ldap object. I would like that with reverse lookup the search is done in all available contact sources, in the same way as a name lookup in the softphone. Richard Bonkestoter

Hey Richard,

That is not quite correct. Reverse lookup can also be done via a ldap server.
The limitation is that only one source can be searched.

Hi Nico,

I know that, maybe my question wasn't complete. It would be a nice thing that the lookup would be done in all possible sources known to the system. Maybe with a URL pointing to a (contacts) app that manages all sources?

Hi Richard,

yes, we have something similar in our collection of ideas.
But there are a few other tasks that need to be done.
We'll have to see how and when that might fit.
