VS SDK Projects crash

Hello,

I struggle with VS 2019 and sdk 132852/132894.

I'm trying to start developing with it. After a lot of tries, last Friday I was finally able to created an App with the wizard, which was working.

Today I want to continue with it, Visual studio completely hangs on innovaphone app projects.

The only way I can reopen the project is, to remove/rename the .vs folder.

This happens only to innovaphone SDK related projects. My other projects open without any problems.

Is there somewhere a log, which I could check? I didn't find anything in %localappdata%\temp.

Also - where are the logs for the connection manager located?

If there a problems, It tells me to check them, but I did not found a hint in the documentation.

That's weird. Can you please make the following steps to see what's going on:

Start Visual Studio without opening a project
Show the output pane and select "Show output from:" innovaphone SDK (if you can't select innovaphone SDK, wait a while until it is avialable).
Now open your project and when Visual Studio will lock up again, make a screenshot fo the output pane and post it here.

Hi Marc,

thank you. I tried that with one project. Sadly, the one, where I left the .vs folder, is still in 132852. So the output windows is hidden by the "Install / update SDK" dialog, which doesn't respond anymore.

That issue was already present last week from one day to another. May be I can get it for the one tomorrow, which is working today.

I'll keep you updated.

Hi Marc,

I couldn't reproduce it this week.

May be it's gone with the latest updated.

I'll check it Monday again. If it's then working, then it may be gone.

Hi Marc,

I did not see for a few days now, but today I got it back.

This morning I was still working on it. After a reboot for Windows Updates, that issue now came back.

There is absolutely no output in the output window from Inno SDK.

I had to remove the .suo file, to get it back working.

After searching for more information, I found, that it is not necessarily related to Inno SDK. It's just happening to them. There are more reports at stack exchange.
