anonymous Websocket connection to my Javascript app service?
What are my options to connect to my Javascript app service?
I would like to trigger an action from an external program that connects to my app service?
Can I create an anonymous Websocket connection to my Javascript app service without any authentication and send and receive Json messages?

Hello Carsten,

at the moment JavaScript App Services do not support WebSocket connections without Authentication.

However, this could be done with C++ App Service.

We could extend JavaScript App Service by anonymous WebSocket, in case broader demand for this functionality should arise.

I added the support for plain websocket connections for 13r2 SR16.
