IP101 blocked

Hi,

Has anyone ever encountered the following issue:

IP101 phone blocked with MAC address, bootcode and IP address on display

The reset action does not solve the problem"press backspace key when power cycle, hold ca 10 sec till led flashing. Power cycle again when slow blink".

Hello François,

Seems like the phone starts up in 'bootcode'/'Mini-firmware'-mode.

This mode uses a reduced firmware and offers the possibility to upload a new firmware using the standard Web-UI procedure.

Can you:

* download and extract the IP101-firmware from https://store.innovaphone.com

* open the web interface of the phone (https://10.12.21.4)

* Login and navigate to Maintenance/Upload/Firmware + upload the downloaded firmware (ip101.bin).

* Reset the phone

P.S. You can simulate this on a good device via the web interface -> Maintenance/Reset/Bootcode + OK.

thank you for this information.

Unfortunately in the meantime an RMA has been made for this phone.

I would know what to do for the next reseller who encounters the issue.
