Recording: improve the backup method

For all our clients in the financial sector, call recording is essential and mandatory. A loss of call recording data can have enormous financial repercussions for the integrator who manages the telephony at the customer's premises.
The backup method in place at the moment works on one leg...
If you want to restore a ".dump" file, it works 1x out of 3. If it doesn't work remotely, the support asks to restore via a machine that is on the same LAN. If it doesn't work, no popup indicating the reason for the bug or malfunction.
The backups are not incremental, i.e. it backs up the whole database each time.
If we configure the automatic backup tasks to an external server, they give us a positive result while on the other hand no ".dump" file has been generated...
For such an important product, we need a backup solution that works!
Is it not possible to rework this backup method in v14 and have something that holds up?
