Recording: precautionary recording
If you receive a threatening call it will be great to have the 'unrecorded' part of the call when you start the recording.
Imagine the following dialogue:
Caller: 'I have placed a bomb in your company!'
You: 'Ok, I started now the recording, can you please repeat it for the police?'
Difficult, isn't it?
I know from another vendor that recording records every call for selected extensions (e.g. switchboard) and automatically deletes it automatically on the end of the call if the recording was not activated during the call. After the recording activation, it should stay on for the following calls until the user deactivates it manually. So the documentation in this stressful situation is ensured.
