What Domien means, I think, is. That when you have a call with the softphone, that you have the video screen centrally, or if there is no video with e.g. a pstn call, you see a big avatar centrally in the screen. Right and Left you have respectively a pane with the active call and one with the favorites and where you can look up contacts. This week I got the question from a customer who just switched from V13R2 to V13R3, why this avatar is in the middle and if they can't lock the left and right pane in the screen. This company has four receptionists who are constantly taking and transferring calls. They have no use for the very large space provided for video since they only handle pstn calls.This layout requires a much greater distance to be traveled with the mouse across the screen than before in the R2 release. This is considered very stressful and annoying.


So it would be great if there is some choice in how the softphone screen is laid out.One choice would be to have the left and right pane fixed next to each other on the screen.

This is exactly what our customers are asking for!

With V13r2 the client was more clear (übersichtlich), now the user has to switch every time for every call action between the screens..

And: The very most customer are not using video!
Also calls from trunk, never have Video..

So please implement an option to fix the both screens in the mainscreen and show the videoscreen only if video used.
