Service API for the Reports APP

Hello, my name is Angel Violero from Makenai Solutions, an Innovaphone Partner, and APPs developer.

Recently, we have developed solutions on the OnPremises platform regarding reporting by directly accessing the PostgreSQL databases. However, this approach does not apply to Innovaphone Cloud environments where direct access to the database is not possible. Currently, there is no way to access this database via the Cloud, and they suggest the need to create an API to access the reporting database.

I would like to see if this possibility can be taken into consideration and when this API could be available.

Hello Angel Violero,

could you describe use cases/queries are you using to fetch call data?

We would like to design the API and need more detailed requirements descriptions therefore.

I can imagine following use cases, but maybe you have some additional requirements:
- fetch call data for a specific conf-id
- fetch call data for a specific user/extension and/or a specific time frame
- get notifications for new entries

Hello Andreas. The more comprehensive the API is when it comes to retrieving Call Detail Records (CDRs), the better. Sometimes, clients require customized and adaptive reports on the calls made, and our idea is to undertake a development that can extract this data from Innovaphone and export it to Power BI so that the client or we can customize it according to the needs. Therefore, the more data we can obtain, the better.

this requirement effectively expects a replication feature as a required one.

Are asking a lot for this possibility and then we investe a lot of work to do our own reporting with cdrs and now suddenly it should be made possible...
