Send Character via DTMF to FXO
Dear,
I am using IP311 for interface between SIP and FXO, in this context I need to send a # character via DTMF to FXO side when SIP call ends.
Could you please help me solving this task?
Best regards,

Hi Leandro,

i think there is no routine out-of-the box, but you can do it with a recorded Soundfile.
There are online "dtmf tone generators". You can use them to record the tone, convert it to g711a and play it in xml with pbx-prompt.

Best regards

Re: Send Character via DTMF to FXO
Hello dear,

Just to confirm, it is needed to generate the # DTMF on the FXO side before ending the call, when receiving a bye from the SIP side.
The device on the SIP end is not capable of generating any DTMF tones,in this scenario I only have call open and call end, thus I need the IP311 to manipulate the call to match the requirements of our PBX on the FXO side.
I am currently using the route config, as shown in the pic attached, to send the DTMF signals at the start of the call but I cannot handle the call end signaling on that screen.
So far the solution is to setup a 20 second pause and then send the # key but this is not the optimal solution.
Could you advise us if it's possible to achieve our desired configuration and if so, point to us the steps on how to do it?
