Switchboard: Quality of life improvements with many calls
Hi,
a customer found out that the switchboard-app can be very hard to handle if the user is a member of many WQs which also receive a lot of calls.
There are many possible solutions to make this work better, but none of those should be fixed changes and rather be a matter of configuration (because the problem does not occur in every system with any user).
The "in the waiting queue" list can get extremly long. This list also shows calls of WQs where the user is a member of, even tho he is logged out of this WQ. A possible fix would be to give this list a limit:
- Only show calls of a WQ where the user is logged in at the moment
- Only show X calls with the longest ringing time
- limit the height of the list and make it scrollable
-> Again, none of this should be fixed and rather be configurable to give the user the best possible experience.
Also there is a general issue with scrolling in the app. If there are a lot of entries in the busy lamp field and also a lot of call "in the waiting queue" (as mentioned above), there is no possibility to scroll through those two sections seperatly. This is also kinda unintuitive but could be solved with above mentioned variants.
