An announcement call in innovaphone speech is a call carrying a vendor specific H.323 facility marking the call as an announcement call. Such a call will be accepted by innovaphone IP phone immediately by going into hands-free mode.

An API is a set of functions that gives programs access to specific services provided by a server or a library. For example, the myApps client exposes APIs so that Apps can access services provided by other Apps.
