R

:
The DECT radio is responsible for converting signalling and voice data between the DECT radio link and IP packets.
:
Acronym for Registration, Admission and Status, part of the H.225 protocol.
:
When a call is redirected (e.g. due to Call Deflection or Call Forward), the extension of the user initiating the redirection (e.g. the user that has a CFx) is often referred to as Redirecting Number.
:
The process by which an entity that can terminate or route a VoIP call (i.e. a gateway or a telephone) makes itself known to the call server.
:
The relay (as configured in the fish-help.png Administration/Gateway tabs) is the software component within innovaphone devices that handles access to various physical or external interfaces (such as e.g. ISDN basic rate, primary rate or analogue FXS). It manages the interface in terms of status and physical configuration and provides the necessary protocols (such as ISDN, QSIG, CAS, POTS) to implement both signalling and media channel.
:
A radio that has no direct connection to the IP Dect Master. It needs (either directly or indirectly) access to a base station that provides the channel to the PBX. A repeater increases the systems coverage thus, it does not add to the number of concurrent calls possible.
A repeater needs a sync-source (as any radio does). However, the radio serving as synchronization chain is also used to access the voice channel to the PBX. That is, calls travelling across a repeater will always also be handled by the repeaters sync source.

Note that in our current IP-DECT solution (IP1202), there are no repeaters.
:
If a repeater itself has another repeater as its sync-source, then this is called a repeater-chain.
The radios in a repeater chain can be used as a sync-source for an IP1200 radio.
Special rules apply to create repeater chains.

Note that in our current IP-DECT solution (IP1202), there are no repeaters.
:
When a number is looked up in a dictionary (for example when an incoming call appears) to dig out the remote parties name information, this is called reverse lookup.

:
The reverse proxy provides access to PBX resources from external (i.e. the internet). It routes client requests to the appropriate server (PBX, directory, ...) and maintains security (e.g. by validating client certificates).
