PBX limitations

Hi everybody!

I need to implement a very large PBX where the customer has more then 40 branches and every branch need a dect system. I would like to make a master PBX on IPVA, and every dect system register itself on the master PBX.

Is there any limitations on this configuration? Is there any maximum dect system configurable in a PBX?

This is not exactly the answer to your question but it gives you a overview. I think your configuration should work fine, but I can‘t guarantee it. Here are a lot of different details important (trunks, groups etc.).

Hi Mauro,

To 'really' answer your question we need to have a better understanding on what you want to achieve.

For example, do DECT users travel with their phone from one location to another?

If it’s isolated to just one site/branch you can create standalone DECT systems (most easy way to do). Remember that you would need a unique SARI for every branch.

If you want to build a complex DECT network that’s also possible, with multicell’s, DECT mobility master etc. however I would recommend to do the DECT training for that first.

Hi Richard,

no, the location are far away, every DECT system is standalone. Why should I use different SARI for every branch? (Sorry, I don't know the cause)
