the phone itself never needs more than 2 DSP channels (which it has). 2 DSPs are required if a 3PTY (no CONF interface) is done. In all other situations, only 1 DSP is required (as all but the current call are on hold and need no DSP).
The Waiting Queue can handle unlimited number of calls (in fact, it is limited by CPU (announcements) and RAM (calls), but on an average box, this will give you many many calls).
The Queue Monitor does not handle calls at all (it just monitors calls, hence the name).
