Custom Innovaphone DHCP options are not distributed

A customer has a 2012er DHCP server. He has defined the Innovaphone Custom DHCP options as "server options". In this case, the options are not handed over to the phone. If the Custom Options entered locally on each IP DHCP-Config, then the phone get this Innovaphone options.

Registered default options in the server DHCP-options are received against it. Where can be the problem?

turning on the trace on DHCP

config add /trace DHCP0
config write
config activate
ireset

may give some insight.

thanks for moving ;) ....

i have made a trace, i can not see any Innovaphone DHCP Options (update URL...). Only the server-Standard-DHCP-Option ex. "stralsund.loc" as domain are provided.

Because no innovaphone options can be seen, the problem is rather the DHCP server?

the 198.1.13.12 and .13 are core-switches with ip helper . First the phone get the VLAN.

172.25.213.12 and .13 are ip helper to the voice-VLAN

Any ideas?

habt Ihr das lösen können?

Der Trace sieht völlig OK aus:

Zuerst bekommen wir ein lease von 198.1.13.12 das uns in’s VLAN 0x00d5 schickt
Dort wollen uns gleich zwei DHCP Server beglücken (172.25.213.12, 172.25.213.13)
Die Offers sind identisch und enthalten eine Vendor-Option mit einer Suboption 206 (VLAN-ID)
Nachdem wir eine Weile auf ein besseres Offer von einem innovaphone Server gewartet haben nehmen wir das Angebot von 172.25.213.13 an.

Sieht mir eher nach einem Konfigurationsproblem auf dem Windows Server aus.

has anybody ever entered Custom vendor options as server options? Does it work for anyone?

We have a similar problem: We've defined Innovaphone Custom DHCP options as range options. As long as you don't have any options for an IP-Adress, the range options are correctly recognized by the Innovaphone-telephone. If we additionally add another DHCP-option for a special IP-Adress, the range DHCP-option will no longer be drawn to the IP-telephone, although this should be inherited...
