DECT QoS low - Radio muted 8 times
Hi all,
I'm using SIP Dect base station 1200 (11r2 sr12 IP1200[11.3498], Bootcode[101298], Hardware[30]) with Asterisk 11.
Very often, almost on every call, i get this error message under Events:

Error 0x00031001 Indeterminate DECT QoS low - Radio muted 8 times

User have to hangup and call again due the noise. Dect base station has 20 user.

How can i troubleshoot problem?

Anyone can help me please?

Thanks in advance.

Giordano,

IP1200 is a rather old product, but there er some articles in the wiki. See fish-help.png Rules for successful IP1200 deployment and all related articles.

Re: DECT QoS low - Radio muted 8 times
Thanks Christoph. We use IP1200 for about 8 years (also enviroment with 50 bases in multi-cell) and never met problem like this. Installation is very basic, 5 fixed phone, 1 base station (single cell) and one PBX. Anyway, it sounds linke a radio problem or network problem? Any suggestion?
Thanks again for your attention.

Re: DECT QoS low - Radio muted 8 times
as the message tries to suggest: the QoS on DECT is bad (i.e. too many bad packets). Perhaps there have been changes in the building (new walls, doors, ...)?

I'd to a site survey (see fish-help.png Debugging tools for DECT deployment).
