IP64 does not show the called Waiting Queue if the caller is registered in the ldap server.
We have a customer with an IP411 that uses a dect system (ip1202+ip64).

When an unknown external number calls a Waiting Queue object then the operators see in the ip64 something like this:

[Telephone Number]
>[Waiting Queue Name]

Which is exactly as it should be. The problem rises when the external number is programmed in an LDAP server. In this case the IP64 shows something like:

[Caller's Name]

But does not show the waiting queue name anymore so the customer can't know if the call is intended to him specifically or if it is meant for the entire waiting queue.

Why does this happen? Is there a way around this problem?

Unfortunately, this is how it works sad
The reason is that the original display info sent to the handset is overridden by the LDAP result. The only option to fix that is to disable LDAP.

We have queued a change request by the development, however it can take some time for implementation and release since DECT handset firmware is affected.
