Twitter?
Hi everyone,

I'm currently thinking about whether it would make sense to have a kind of blog in which interesting updates to the innovaphone Wiki are addressed. No lengthy elaborations, just sort of a hint hey, there is something new in the wiki.


Of course, I am asking myself:
  • does that make sense?
  • if so, where do you want to read it?
    • here in the forum?
    • as an RSS feed?
    • on Twitter?
    • Facebook?
    • Mailing list?
    • anything else?

I am looking forward to your feedback!

Hi Christoph,

I like the idea. This makes sense, sending a small notification via twitter would be appreciated. In my opinion this should be a part of the Innovaphone website.
And only in English to keep it internationally professional.

Gegenfrage, würde dies, das Gesamte Wiki betreffen, also "alle" Änderungen ? würde man sich da nur bestimmte Kategorien aus wiki abonnieren können ?

Ich selbst fände ein RSS Feed (oder verschiedene Twitter Channels - was jedoch ggf. für Euch wieder ein Verwaltungsoverhead wäre) von man eben bestimmte Bereiche sich abonnieren könnte super, weil eben mich nicht alle Produkte/Funktionen interessieren und somit dann ggf. zuviel Updates reinkommen (je nach dem in welchem Zyklus Ihr das Wiki aktualisiert) ... es dann eher als Spam wirk und updates nicht mehr registrieren (wollen) würde

I see you point. But as you already mentioned - this ends in a difficult to maintain scheme. I think we should try it and if people start complaining "this is too much", then we adjust. After alle, twitter allows us 140 characters only smile
