Busy message for operator
Hi, first time in this forum.
I have to manage incoming call for a busy operator, a queue message has to be sent to internal or external callers when they reach the busy operator extension.
I think it is doable by waiting queue
Since I'm new to innovaphone IP1200 too , is there anybody suggesting me the right way to proceed ?

Thank you

Re: Busy message for operator
What do you mean by "queue message has to be sent to internal or external callers" ?

Should a voice message be send to the caller?
And when yes, what should happen afterwards?

For the above scenario a WQ is a way to solve it, but also a voice mail, depending on what needs to be done with the call.

You can configure a CFB (Call forward busy) which then points to the waitingqueue or any other object

Re: Busy message for operator
Thank you for reply

Extension 700 is the destination for an existing waiting queue used as IVR

When the outside callers "hit 0 for operator" they get ringing tone even if extension 700 is busy.
The same is for the internal pbx calls.

Obviously they ask "where is the operator ? "

It would be nice if a "busy operator" message is played , while caller is into queue it waits for the operator being available.

If your suggested CFB is the best solution, how the new waiting queue has to be configured to check continuously if op. extension bacome available ?
