myPBX / Netlogon

Hello,

we are randomly experiencing issues in myPBX with Netlogon.


In genereal myPBX via Netlogon works, but if a user for whatever reason logs out of myPBX or maybe changes the Computer while being logged in on another computer myPBX will lock saying “wrong username or password”.


When testing the affected account via Services/Netlogon/Test we receive the following error: authentication ok, invalid session key.

The only workaround I have found so far is rebooting the affected appliance. This can’t be a long term solution though.

Also while users are not able to sign into myPBX on one of the appliance they might be able to sign in on another.


We are running 12r2 sr15 on several IP411/811 and IPVA, but it also occurred with former firmware versions.


Any input, ideas or help on this topic are very much appreciated.

thank you for your reply.

 

We already did this when implementing netlogon authentication.

 

Also as mentioned above, it works for everyone when the PBX is restarted. The problem occurs as soon as someone logs out of myPBX or gets logged out for whatever reason or changes their computer.

 

Any other ideas?

Hi Béla

Are all DNS Server on the innovaphone devices "Active Directory" DNS Servers?
I had this problen, when the second dns wasn't a AD DNS Server.

yes alle DNS Server are AD DNS Servers.

Can you explain a bit what exactly is meant by "We already did this". We have seen exactly this behaviour when people used the same "Computer" account on different PBXs (like Master and Slave). The thing is that the netlogon connection is "up" nevertheless.

In other words, there must not be 2 PBXs with the same Computer configured. Are you sure you did this?

my bad i just skipped the part "separate computer accounts"...

I will just add accounts for every PBX and try again.

So far we didn't experience any issues after I added seperate accounts for each PBX.
Therefore I hope the problem is solved.
