Defective IP112's
Hi everyone
Just wanted to check if more users/resellers are experiencing a lot of issues with certain IP112's
The past year and half we had to request an RMA for over 15 (maybe 20) of these devices, all with the same issue:
- Flickering white screen (or continiously white screen) as from power-on
- + no access to config page when this is happening
- + no reaction on keypresses when this is happening.
We already addressed this to our account manager and asked if this is a known issue but this was denied...
We find it very unfortunate that no information of feedback is given after RMA.
The device is sent back without any information of what kind of repair happened. The only thing we see is that on the back the HW code is striked through with a marker and a new number is written on it...
Also our requests to get any feedback on repairs are not answered...
I now have 3 broken devices next to me with HW 700 and Datacode 02/17
These all failed within a week.
