Call in disconnecting state since 43 days
Hello

I'm relatively new to innovaphone so please bear with me.

On an IP811 of a customer we have a call that has been in disconnecting state for 43 days.
How can I get rid of it?

Hi Jerome,

Try if you can delete the call under PBX, Calls or under Gateway Calls.
If that doesn't work, a restart wil do the job.

Hi Karl

I don't see it under gateway calls and under pbx calls im clicking on "Disconnecting" then clear, but that doesn't do anything.

I guess I'll restart the pbx then today evening.

That's done via maintenance, reset, reset, right?
The naming has got me confused a bit there.

Hello,

we allso have this problem with pbx on V12SR37 and onwards and V13SR17
the only solution for now is reboot the pbx.

The user allso see the call in mypbx, but cannot end it.

We know this issue too at different software versions.
To reduce the impact you can set a value for 'Max Call Duration' at PBX-General-Config. But it works not for all of this cases...

Can you reproduce this behavior? If you can reproduce this, please open a support ticket with a pcap from such a call.

Hi Gerrit,

we have this problem too. Every 2-3 weeks a hanging call.
And this calls was transfered with the inno operator. I had this problem also with the Buchberger Operator. 1 of more then 100 with SOAP transfered calls will become a hanging state.

Hello Gerhard,

if it is possible to catch such a call in a wireshark pcap we can take a look over it and fix this behavior if it is possible. I know this is difficult. But without a pcap we can not fix this.

Hi, is it solved meanwhile? We have the same problem at a customer with v13sr19, every day there are 5 new "hanging" calls.. Thanks.

Soeben wurde 13r1SR20 relesed. Ihr könnt die Version mal einspielen und das Verhalten mit den hängenden Calls beobachten.

sadly 13r1sr20 and upwards didnt solve this issue. Are there any news to this?

We know plenty customers with this problem and have it also happening at our own Innovaphone. One special customer is experiencing this twice per month atleast. We could create a permanent log (Gateway Calls + Gateway Routing for example) and save the data onto a syslog server, but creating a wireshark trace for 2 weeks would most likely consume way to much memory space.

Any ideas on which logging options could be usefull here? My guess is that it has to do with some special call-flow, so Gateway Routing could get us some information about the configuration to maybe reproduce this error and create a pcap after for more details on this.

Hello Maurice,

syslog is just the information about the call flow. You can use this to get an indication. If you can get the right call flow we can try to reproduce this.

With a pcap we have more deeper information's. So we have a chance to fix this behavior.

Actually I had 1 call which was in thist state between a internal user and the conference-server of the PBX. So this is not depending on external calls.

Hello,

we have this issue too but the supportcase is very difficult.
The Issue is present since upgrade from V12 to V13.

I am not sure, but my assumption is, that this are incoming calls to a waitingqueue and then in some special behaviour this could happen.
But i have no congret traces, because it's a very difficult scenario.

Actuall we do dialy reboots in night^^.

Good to hear that there are some other with this problem out their ;).

Same problem on our side
very difficult to catch the problem with wireshark...
We launch a continuous trace but after 2 or 3 days, Wireshark bug.

I suppose that the engineer of Innovaphone would be able to reproduce the problem in their lab' if everybody have the same "bug" ?

I hope that the next release will correct this bug smile

We are also seeing this at some customers and our own pbx, maybe somewhere since late V12.
As it is not that crucial to waste a lot of time (=$$$) tracing and troubleshooting this, we just find a conveniant time to reset the pbx and hope that it will be solved in a next update. But so far to no avail smile

Hello,

could everyone who has this problem please can confirm they still use mypbx on V13?

The customer in my case uses mypbx (and myapps) toghether.
So maybe....

Today, i turned on mypbx on our own pbx to check if that causes the problem.
I can remember when we installed V13 in the beginning we allso had this issue once. today i see that we have disabled mypbx (and did not have this issue for several months) so i've changed it again, if we have this problem again the next fex days. we would be closer to give a more specific feedback to innovaphone.

Hey Davy,

at the moment we have two big environments with this problem:

1. v13r2sr4 - using myApps and myPBX - Problem occurs rarely (one in 3-4 Months)

2. v13r2sr6 - using only myApps (never have been using myPBX) - Problem occurs more often, probably every two weeks

I guess that it doesn't have to do with myPBX, even tho I can understand where you're coming from. The first mentioned system only has those problems with calls that were made in combination with myPBX.
The bigger problem here might be, that this issue doesn't seem to have that one specific call-flow happening which leads to the hanging calls. We have experienced different versions of this error, happening in different setups and service-releases. I'm pretty sure that this problem has been fixed multiple times, but it just comes up again in newer versions and different setups.

Currently we're also trying to get a permanent PCAP-Trace on system 2 (with the trace-flags provided by Innovaphone via support-case). If we get that running, it will hopefully give us a bit more information about the problem.
