Hello,
I'm trying to run visual studio with the innovaphone SDK. Unfortunately, I have a problem. I have Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Version 16.10.1 I launched an innovaphone virtual machine in my account. In Visual Studio I am creating an innovaphone App project, unfortunately I get the following error right from the start 2021-06-16_13h56_57.png

Re: Missing tools on g++ rsync zip
That's kind of a false positiv. Visual Studio could not find the tools need to build the app on the app platform. But there aren't tools available, because finally the windows binaries will be used to compile your app. I know that this message is misleading, but at the moment we don't have a solution for that.

// EDIT: After I got feedback from our support, I just wanted to clear it out: this message can be ignored and you should be able to compile your app and go ahead with your development.

Re: Missing tools on g++ rsync zip
Hello,

we are faced with the same problem. Working on our first app we get stucked now. On Friday, one of our developers left his desk. On Saturday there was a meeting and he wanted to start our app and found out that it doesn't start anymore (it starts, icon showing on pbx, app opens/loads html but no js files were called). On Friday it was still running, and the developer spent the weekend troubleshooting without success.
My suggestion was to first update everything (SDK, Visual Studio) and see if that would fix the problem. Unfortunately, the error still exists. Our solution is created correctly (not like here https://forum.innovaphone.com/moodle2/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=26511), so where is the problem?

PS: The installer tells me he wants to update the VS extension from version 33 to version 33 (all the time). Makes no sense or?

The issue with the update will be fixed in the next release for the VS tools - you can ignore this update message until then.

I hope it was the update issue, you are referring to. If not, please give a hint what exactly you have fixed.

Re: Missing tools on g++ rsync zip
Hello Andreas,

we will ignore the update message, thank you.

We had two issues, first was a missing comma in Apptexts.js file that broke the app.

The missing rsync tools error was gone for a while, we thought is was due to the text.js file fix in combination of a sdk update. I tried to reproduce it without success.
The project displaying the error runs as usual, as marc has already described in the post above:

" // EDIT: After I got feedback from our support, I just wanted to clear it out: this message can be ignored and you should be able to compile your app and go ahead with your development."

Best regards
