Timeout after announcement
Hi.

We have a deployment with announcement and 5 options to choose from. After the announcement is played we have CFNR to something general phone number.
The problem is that if you listen the whole announcement and want to choose number 5, you dont have to type it, because you are already being transfered to general number due to CFNR.
What is the best solution here to have some timeout after announcement is finished, before transfering call to general number?

Kind regards

Re: Timeout after announcement
Hi,

If I uderstand you correctly you would like to have some sign off time after the primary announcment is finished. Just to offer the other side time to potentionaly input the last offered digit.

Innovaphone has a rule that the first announcment is played back only once and then the CFNR logic sets in. If you have a second announcment set that the second one is played back the whole time.

Option 1 - modify the primary announcment

In this case it would be best to either prolong the primary announcment yourself. Add some silence to the end of the announcment and convert it once again.

Option 2 add a second announcment

Or input a second announcment once the first is finished. In this case you could either use the onboard MOH by entering "MOH" or just generate a ringtone by entering "TONE?tone=ringback". In this case you would have to also define the "Reponse timeout" under WQ/General -> in my case where the first announcment is 20 seconds long the respone timeout would be 30 second to give the caller 10 extra seconds after the primarys 20 seconds to be able to select option 5.
